The Role
As the Institutional BD Lead, you are responsible for the commercial success of our on-chain Bitcoin yield asset. Your mandate is to convert our technical and regulatory edge into deep liquidity, massive TVL, and industry-wide adoption.
This is not a traditional "partnerships" role focused on networking and logos. This is a high-leverage commercial seat where success is measured by AUM growth, the depth of liquidity pools, and the assets integration as a premier collateral type across the DeFi ecosystem. You will be the primary engine driving capital from institutional treasuries, family offices, and major protocols.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Close Institutional Capital Deals: Source and close high-value commitments from institutional treasuries, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Drive DeFi & Liquidity Integrations: Negotiate and execute asset listings as a collateral type on leading lending protocols and structure liquidity programs with major Market Makers.
- Commercial Structuring & Strategy: Own the economic frameworks for asset adoption, including fee structures, rebate programs, and incentive alignment for liquidity providers.
- Strategic Sales Engineering: Facilitate "looping" and carry-trade strategies for institutional counterparties by coordinating with DeFi ecosystem integrations.
- External Representation: Act as the lead commercial voice at industry events, conferences, and C-suite meetings, communicating our technical and regulatory advantages.
Requirements
- 4+ years in Institutional Sales, Business Development, or Capital Raising within the crypto or fintech space.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Bitcoin-native finance, DeFi lending mechanics (collateral ratios, liquidations), and institutional fund structures (SPVs, NAV-linked assets).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals and manage commercial structuring for institutional-grade counterparties.
- Existing Network: Deep relationships with institutional traders, fund managers, family offices, and key DeFi protocol founders.
- Commercially Sharp: Ability to "sell the spread" by running the numbers on carry trades, borrow costs, and looping strategies.
